Day 2 of the Great Hut Clearout! - 12-09-2009
After a hectic morning we arrived around 10am to start the second Saturday of work at the hut. Adrian brought the essentials for the day's work, the milk for the tea!
Last week we took out all the kayaks and cleaned them, this week we decided to tackle the rest of the main stores. We moved everything to the garden, cleaned down all the shelves and then moved ruthlessly through all the equipment, only putting back the things we thought we would use.
I think we have enough rope to go to the moon and back again...
So, we've tackled the main stores, still got the cupboards to clear out, some things to be cleaned before going back, the loft and the tent store to do. Plus general tidying, repairs, rubbish removal. Oh well there's always next week!
